Do I need a referral to see a periodontist in Huntington Beach?
No. In California you can book directly with a periodontist. Safari Dentistry and Implants sees new patients for gum disease, implants and everyday dentistry without a referral from another dentist.
Does Safari Dentistry accept Medi-Cal Dental and HMO plans?
Yes. The office accepts Medi-Cal Dental, most PPO and HMO plans, private pay and payment plans. Bring your insurance card to the first visit and the front desk checks your benefits before treatment is planned.
What does a dental implant cost in Huntington Beach?
A single implant with the abutment and crown is quoted in writing after your CT scan, because the price depends on whether bone grafting is needed and what your plan covers. You get the full number before anything starts, and payment plans are available.
Can I be seen the same day for a dental emergency?
Usually yes. Call (714) 848-9200 before 4 PM, Monday to Thursday, and the office holds same-day time for broken teeth, swelling, lost crowns and severe toothache. The office is closed Friday to Sunday, so leave a message and emergencies are returned first on the next open day.
